The Portrait Project
Over the years, self-portraits have become quiet time capsules for me: small altars to past versions of myself, a way of marking time. Each version holds a season of my life and is a tender reminder that every year carries a different story.
The Portrait Project is my year-long commitment to a community-centered creative practice, extending my ritual of artful self-documentation outward. Through accessible portrait sessions, I hope to create a space for reflection, presence, and compassionate self-recognition.
This work is designed with the intention to create a growing series of portraits that, together, tell a communal story - honoring individuality while capturing a shared sense of presence and connection. Grounded in the belief that documenting ourselves can help us feel more connected to who we are, The Portrait Project was created to honor the quiet evolutions that shape who we are becoming.
